Q1: What is a digital protractor?
A1: The digital protractor is a device for measuring small angles, which can be used to measure tilt for horizontal position, parallelism, and perpendicularity of two parts, straightness of machine tools and instrument guides, table flatness, and flatness of flat plates, etc. 

Q2: How does the digital protractor work?
A2:  When the axis in the digital protractor base is rotated in one direction, the count increases, and when the direction of rotation is changed, the count decreases. The count is related to the initial position of the goniometer. When the goniometer is initialized, its count is set to 0. By calculating the angle of rotation, the position and speed can be easily measured.

Q3: What is the accuracy of the digital protractor?
A3: Digital Protractor measure an angle over 360 degrees with a high accuracy of 0.1 degrees.

Tips: How to calibrate the inclinometer's value error?

1. Using a high-precision horizontal indexing head to calibrate the inclinometer's indicated value error.

Install the inclinometer on the high-precision horizontal indexing head (hereinafter referred to as indexing head). Adjust the indexing head so that the value of the inclinometer is zero, while the indexing head is set to zero or aligned to an integer value. Then change the value of the indexing head in turn, each time the amount of change according to the range of the inclinometer selected, in the range of 90 ° calibration at least 5 positions, to be read after the value is stable, each calibration position is required to converge in both directions, take the average of two readings and the difference between the indexing head readings as the calibration results. In order to reduce the impact of the index head's empty range, the index head should be rotated in the unified direction and changed to the other direction after the calibration in one direction.

2. Use the 0-level triangle right angle ruler or round plant angle ruler with the sine gauge to calibrate the tilt angle meter's indicated value error.

First of all, place the sine gauge on the level meter tester, install the inclinometer on the sine gauge, and adjust the level meter tester, so that the tiltmeter value is zero while making the water level meter tester value is located in an integer value, and then change the combination of sine gauge angle, each change according to the range of the tilt meter selected, in the range of 90 ° at least calibration of at least 5 positions, to be read after the value is stable, each calibration position need to be positive and negative convergence, take the average of two readings and the difference between the index head readings as the calibration results. The difference between the average of the two readings and the reading of the index is taken as the calibration result. When the sine gauge is used for calibration, the sine gauge cannot combine angles above 70°, so the 90° measuring point is calibrated by using a class 0 triangular rectangle or cylindrical rectangle. Calibration is performed. Inclinometer calibration should be converged from two directions, but the sine gauge can not do this requirement, so the convergence process is done by a level checker.
