    Digital Brix Refractometer, 32% brix

This digital brix refractometer adopts the principle that different sugar concentrations produce different refractive indices of light to accurately measure sugar content. Equipped with a photosensitive element, the brix meter refractometer offers a measurement range of 0–32% Brix, a resolution of 0.1%, and an accuracy of ±0.2% Brix. The brix meter for sugar is suitable for measuring sugar concentration in fruit juices, milk tea, beverages, beer, and other sugary liquids.

    FAQs

Q1: What is a digital brix refractometer?
A1: A digital brix refractometer is a saccharimetric instrument based on the principle of optical refraction. It calculates and displays the Brix (saccharimetric content) value by detecting changes in the refractive index of liquids with different sugar concentrations. This brix meter refractometer is mainly used to measure the sugar content of sugary liquids such as fructose, fruit juice, milk tea, beer, and beverages. It features fast measurement speed, intuitive readings, and high accuracy, and is widely used in food processing, beverage production, and quality testing.

Q2: How to use a digital brix refractometer?
A2: First turn on the digital brix meter and ensure the measuring tank is clean and dry. Drop the liquid to be tested into the measuring tank, ensuring the liquid level covers the prism surface or reaches approximately two-thirds of the measuring tank. Press the measurement button; the sugar refractometer will automatically complete the measurement and display the Brix value on the screen. You can also view data such as temperature and refractive index. After measurement, clean the measuring tank with clean water and dry it promptly to ensure the accuracy of the next brix measurement.

Q3: How to calibrate a digital brix refractometer?
A3: During beer refractometer calibration, first clean the measuring chamber and add an appropriate amount of purified or distilled water, ensuring it completely covers the prism surface. Press the zero or calibration button lightly; calibration is complete when the screen displays 0.0% Brix. Calibration is recommended for first-time use, after significant ambient temperature changes, or after prolonged periods of inactivity to ensure accurate and stable handheld brix refractometer's measurement results.

Tips: What is the working principle of a digital Brix refractometer?

When light passes through a liquid sample, the speed of light propagation and the angle of refraction change due to variations in the concentration of soluble solids (such as sugar) in the solution. The digital brix meter uses a prism to fix the sample and guide the light, an optical sensor detects the refracted light signal, and an electronic system converts the refractive index into a %Brix (saccharide content) value, thus directly displaying the weight percentage of sucrose in the liquid.
