Optimized Structure for Accurate & Stable Tank Level Monitoring

    • Hydrodynamic Cylindrical Probe Design: Our capacitive level transmitter adopts a cylindrical profile built for fluid dynamics. It effectively cuts down medium impact and probe shaking inside the tank.
    • Atmospheric Vent Hole for Fast Medium Response: Equipped with atmospheric vent holes to maximize ventilation efficiency.
    • Seamless One‑piece Formed Probe Rod: The probe rod is integrally formed with zero welding seams. High shock‑resistance and overload tolerance make this fuel level sensor mechanically robust for harsh onsite environments.

    User‑Friendly On‑site Setup & Reliable Circuit Protection

    • On‑site Cutting & Calibration for Simple Tank Installation: This capacitive oil level sensor supports on‑site cutting of the probe rod to fit actual tank height. (Note: the cut‑off length shall not exceed 30% of total rod length.) On‑site zero‑point and full‑range calibration is available, greatly simplifying tank installation and commissioning on different liquid or fuel tanks.
    • Built‑in Reverse‑Polarity Wiring Protection: Reverse‑polarity protection circuit is integrated for wiring mistakes. It prevents sensor damage caused by mis‑wiring during field operation, lowering onsite failure risk for your tank level monitoring system.

    FAQs

Q1: What factors affect capacitive oil level sensor accuracy?
A1: The accuracy of a capacitive oil level sensor can be affected by measurement distance, liquid properties, installation position, temperature changes, and electrical interference. Choosing the correct sensor range and installation method helps achieve better measurement performance.

Q2: Is a capacitive oil level transmitter waterproof?
A2: A capacitive oil level transmitter is designed to protect against water and dust, but the exact waterproof capability depends on its IP rating. This capacitive oil level transmitter features an IP65 protection grade, which means it is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets. It can operate reliably in environments with moisture, splashes, and outdoor exposure.

Q3: Can a capacitive oil level sensor work in harsh environments?
A3: Yes, a capacitive oil level sensor can work reliably in harsh environments when it is designed with proper protection features. This model features IP65 protection, ±20G mechanical vibration resistance, and a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +85°C, allowing stable oil level measurement in demanding conditions such as industrial machinery, vehicles, hydraulic systems, and outdoor equipment. Its durable design helps maintain accurate performance even with dust, moisture, vibration, and temperature changes.

Tips: Is a capacitive oil level sensor better than a float oil level sensor?

A capacitive oil level sensor is often preferred when higher reliability and lower maintenance are required. Unlike float sensors that use mechanical moving components, capacitive sensors have no moving parts, reducing wear and improving stability in applications with vibration or frequent operation.
