    Overview

SISCO dual-point level float switch is a stainless-steel liquid-level sensor designed for precise water-level monitoring. This vertical float switch incorporates a magnetic reed switching mechanism inside a non-magnetic stem, activated by the magnetic float rising or falling with the liquid level.

Dual Point Level Float Switch Detail View

    Dual Point Liquid Level Control

    • The upper float point triggers when liquid reaches the high-level mark, sending a stop-fill or start-drain signal through the red wires.
    •  The lower float point activates when liquid drops below the low-level mark, sending a start-fill or stop-drain signal through the black wires.
    • Each float point can be manually inverted to switch between normally open and normally closed operation modes.
    • Adjustable retaining clips allow precise positioning of each float along the stem for customized switching thresholds.

    Simple Wiring and On-site Adaptability

    • Two red wires control the upper float point with 0.5A switching capacity at 220V AC.
    • Two black wires control the lower float point with the same 0.5A rating for consistent performance.
    • The magnetic float level sensor supports both fill and drain applications by simple float inversion.
    • High-temperature PTFE cable withstands corrosive environments and provides reliable long-term connections.

    Applications

SISCO dual-point level float switch serves water storage tanks, pressure vessels, chemical processing equipment, boilers, cooling towers, condensate collection systems, fuel storage tanks, hydraulic reservoirs, wastewater treatment facilities, and industrial process control systems requiring reliable liquid level monitoring and pump automation.

    FAQs

Q1: How do I switch this stainless steel float switch from fill mode to drain mode?
A1: To change the liquid level float switch from fill to drain operation, use pliers to remove the lower retaining clip, take off the float, flip it 180° so the marked point faces downward, then slide it back onto the stem and reinstall the clip. Both float points must be inverted following the same procedure to ensure proper dual-point level float switch functionality.

Q2: What liquid media can this vertical liquid level sensor handle?
A2: This magnetic float level sensor is compatible with water, oils, coolants, chemicals, fuels, and various industrial liquids with specific gravity above 0.7g/cm3. The 304 stainless steel liquid level sensor body provides excellent corrosion resistance, while the PTFE-insulated cable offers protection against acids, alkalis, and high-humidity environments.

Q3: Can I adjust the switching points of this water level float switch after installation?
A3: Yes. The dual-point level float switch features adjustable retaining clips that can be repositioned along the 8mm stainless steel stem. Simply loosen and move each clip to the desired height for customized high and low liquid detection thresholds, accommodating different tank depths and capacity requirements from 1L to 100L.

Tips: How to choose the right stem length for this dual-point level float switch?

Selecting the correct stem length ensures accurate liquid level detection for your specific tank depth.

    1. Measure your tank height from the top mounting point to the bottom. The stem of this stainless steel liquid level sensor should extend close to the tank bottom without touching it, allowing the lower float to detect minimum liquid levels properly.
    2. Match the stem length to your tank capacity. This vertical float switch offers various lengths from 120mm (1L) to 760mm (100L); always refer to the L3 total length dimension when selecting.
    3. Verify the retaining clip adjustment range. The 38mm spacing between floats on this dual point level float switch can be repositioned along the stem; ensure the mounting depth allows both high and low set points to fall within the liquid level variation range.
    4. Consider the mounting orientation. This top-mount liquid level float switch requires sufficient clearance above the tank for installation and future maintenance access to the PTFE cable connection.
    5. Account for liquid specific gravity. This magnetic float level sensor is calibrated for media with specific gravity above 0.7g/cm3; ensure your floats have adequate buoyancy to rise freely with the liquid level.
