    FAQs

Q1: What is the difference between 0.5mm² and 1.0mm² wire gauge options for this water level float switch?
A1: The 0.5mm² wire gauge supports load capacity up to 750W, while the 1.0mm² wire gauge supports up to 1500W. For loads exceeding these ratings, an AC contactor must be used in conjunction with this cable float switch.

Q2: What is the switching angle of this float level switch?
A2: The switching angle is 55°±5° for filling mode and 40°±5° for drainage mode. This design ensures accurate and consistent switch points for this water float switch under different control requirements.

Q3: Can this cable float switch be used in hot water applications?
A3: Yes, this water level float switch operates continuously in media temperatures ranging from 0°C to 80°C, making it suitable for hot water tanks, cooling towers, and other thermal liquid level control applications.

Tips: How to ensure proper wiring for this water level float switch?

For filling (water supply) applications, connect the yellow-green and blue wires. For drainage applications, connect the yellow-green and brown wires. Unused wires must be fully insulated with electrical tape to prevent short circuits. Ensure all cable joints are well protected against moisture, as water ingress into the connections can cause false triggering or failure of this cable float switch. Proper wiring ensures your float level switch delivers reliable automatic control from the first day of operation.
