Waterproof DC Battery Indicator Physical Dimensions

    FAQs

Q1: Can this battery indicator work with both 24V and 48V systems?
A1: Yes. The SISCO waterproof battery indicator measures DC voltage from 7V to 68V, so it fully supports 24V, 48V, as well as 12V and 36V systems. No additional converter is needed.

Q2: Is the device truly waterproof? Can I use it on a boat or in heavy rain?
A2: Yes, it is rated PX7 (fully waterproof and corrosion-resistant). The housing is sealed with epoxy, making it safe for marine environments, golf carts exposed to rain, and outdoor solar installations.

Q3: How do I calibrate the voltage reading if it becomes inaccurate over time?
A3: Use a small screwdriver to adjust the potentiometer through the rear calibration hole while measuring a known stable voltage. The calibration is simple and does not require special tools.

Tip: What does the battery capacity percentage mean?
The percentage shown on the SISCO battery indicator is calculated based on the real-time voltage and your preset low/high thresholds (e.g., 10.5V for empty, 14.6V for full). It is not a coulomb counter, so it works best with lead-acid and lithium batteries that have a stable voltage curve. For accurate readings, make sure to set the correct battery type and calibrate the voltage via the rear potentiometer.
