High-precision Optical Power Testing and RJ45 Network Cable Testing

    • The Ethernet cable testing tool allows you to adjust the test reference based on your actual testing needs. Pressing the [LED]+[LIGHT] key enters user calibration mode. The [LIGHT] key increases by 0.05dB, and the [dB] key decreases by 0.05dB. High-precision optical function testing achieves a measurement error of less than ±0.2dB. Eight test wavelengths are available: 850nm/980nm/1300nm/1310nm/1490nm/1550nm/1625nm/1650nm, and three connector types: SC/ST/FC.
    • The handheld Ethernet tester accurately tests whether a single network cable is transmitting properly. Press and hold the [dB] key for 3 seconds to enable RJ45 test mode; press again to disable RJ45 test mode.

    Intelligent Standby and Drop Protection

    • The digital network tester utilizes a high-quality laser head with a red light beam that can penetrate 15 kilometers, ensuring a longer service life.
    • The digital network cable tester's housing is protected by a soft rubber layer, offering enhanced drop resistance and preventing damage in the event of an accident.
    • The RJ45 cable tester's backlight is on by default upon power-up and automatically turns off after two minutes of inactivity. You can also turn off the backlight by pressing the [LIGHT] button in power-on mode until the light icon in the upper left corner disappears.
    • It features an intelligent standby mode that automatically turns off after 10 minutes of inactivity.

    FAQs

Q1: What is a network cable tester?
A1: A network cable tester is a device used to verify the integrity of network cabling, including Ethernet cables and phone lines. It can identify wiring faults, connectivity issues, and measure cable length.

Q2: Why do I need a network cable tester?
A2: A network cable tester is an essential tool for network technicians, IT professionals, and anyone who works with network cabling. It helps to troubleshoot problems quickly and accurately, saving time and money. By using a network cable tester, you can ensure that your network is running smoothly and efficiently.

Q3: What features do network cable testers need?
A3: When choosing a network cable tester, it's important to consider the features that will be most useful for your needs. Look for a tester that can detect open, short, and miswired cables, as well as measure cable length. It should have an easy-to-read display and be able to work with different cable types. Some testers also offer additional features, such as tone generation and tracing, which can be useful for more complex networks.

Tips: How to Maintain a Network Cable Tester Daily?

Daily maintenance of a network cable tester requires attention to cleaning, protection, and proper operation. Regularly wipe the instrument's housing, screen, and interfaces with a soft, dry cloth to prevent dust accumulation and contact with corrosive substances. Store in a dry, shockproof environment, away from high temperatures, humidity, and strong magnetic fields. Handle the test cable with care during use, avoiding dropping or excessive bending. When plugging and unplugging interfaces, align and gently insert to prevent pin damage. Also, check the battery charge regularly and replace it as needed. Remove the battery when not in use for extended periods to prevent leakage and corrosion.
