Salinity Meter Use Instruction
- Press the power key to start the device's RDY icon will flash.
- Place the gravimeter measurement probe tip (as Shown) in the testing water MEAS icon will flash and the test begins.
- The buzzer will sound and the backlight will illuminate to display the result.
- Press the power key to display the SG value (unit: PPT), press the key to display the temperature value(unit: C), and press the key more to power off.
- Clean the probe ready for its next usage, place the probe in natural water, and wait till the RDY icon appears on the display.
- Use fresh water to clean the probe and use a soft cloth to dry it. Keep dry When stored.
How to use a digital salinity tester?
To operate a digital salinity meter, you just hit the On button once to turn it on and the meter beeps once softly, and you can see it's flashing RDY which means it's ready.
Keep in mind to calibrate it first before testing to ensure an accurate reading. Note that only this section of the salinity probe can be submerged into the sample liquid as the tester is not entirely waterproof.
How to test a digital salinometer?
To test the handheld salinometer, we’ve got four salt solutions of different salinity levels. After testing a liquid, we wipe it clean with a dry paper towel, getting it ready for the next test.
